     ABSTRACT: The healing process of the BestSelfVisualizationMethod (BSM) is described within the framework of meditation, neuroscience, and psychodynamic theory. Cases are drawn from the treatment of high-risk youth, who have histories of poverty, survival of sexual and physical abuse, and/or current risk for perpetrating abuse.      ABSTRACT: The study investigates age-related effects across the adultlifespan on spatialabilities (testing subabilities based on a distinction betweenspatial visualization, mental rotation, and perspective taking) and spatial self-assessments. The sample consisted of 454 participants (223 women and 231 men) from 20 to 91 years of age. Results showed nonlinear age-related effects for spatial visualization and perspective taking but linear effects for mental rotation; few or no age-related effects were found for spatial self-assessments. Working memory accounted for only a small proportion of the variance in all spatial tasks and had no effect on spatial self-assessments. Overall, our findings suggest that the influence of age on spatial skills across the adultlifespan is considerable, but the effects of age change as a function of the spatial task considered, and the effect on spatial self-assessment is more marginal.      ABSTRACT: The article discusses a study which examined the effect of movementimagerytraining on learning forearm pass in volleyball. Involved in the study were 24 mail students from Physical Education Faculty at Jordan University. It was found that learning was enhanced and performance was improved by mental movementimagerytraining and physical practice.

This article describes the relationship between survivability rates in HIV positive adults and the practice of spiritual practices, including visioning. The study concluded that participating in these practices resulted in a reduced risk of death by those undergoing Highly Active Antriretroviral Therapy (HAART) and those not when compared to adults who do not partake in any spiritual practices.

Thirty breast cancer survivors participated in an 8 week stress reduction program called "Envision the Rhythms of Life" employing visioning techniques over 6 class periods. At the conclusion of the study, survivors experienced improvements physical, social, familial, emotional, and functional well-being. Subjects practicing visioning techniques also reported the greatest reductions in stress and cortisol levels.

An article detailing the effects of several spiritual practices, including visioning. Author Laura Newsome describes the process of undergoing visualization as well as the benefits of regularly practicing this uplifting technique. Visualization, as explained in the article, is the first step to one's ultimate success, improved sense of well-being, and departure from negative thoughts and their numerous consequences.
