     Robert Emmons explains in his book how gratitude can drastically improve your life in as little as three weeks.  He presents techniques to practice gratitude as well as in depth explanations of why they work.  In one section he talks about the powerful effect of keeping a thanks journal and how in just three weeks you will start to feel your life begin to change.

     Written from a spiritual perspective, Thank You Power gives insight into how gratitude can improve you physically and spiritually.  With scientific backing and bright writing, Norville makes a compelling argument for why everyone should be grateful.  Her writing may especially appeal to religious followers.

     In this book gratitude is looked at in a historical as well as a biological perspective.  Gratitude has shaped the world throughout the ages, and this book explains how.  Not only has gratitude been a powerful force in history, but also biologically!  As one of my journals also explains, gratitude may have has a profound impact on our evolution as human beings.
